I haven't been doing so well at writing lately and this week I'm going to the mountains in South Africa, to C and I's wedding at Sungubala Camp, so that will be two more weeks of silence. What happened? Life accelerated; some things were unbloggable and I've been lazy and escapist, immersed in a West Wing Season 6 marathon.

For the next couple of weeks: far-flung friends, mountains, camp fires, hiking, night skies, homegrown organic food, reading and rest.

This is what happens when you shop online and forget to check the sizes. This wasn't quite as bad as the time I got a whole vegetable bag full of fresh ginger root.
